County Print understands that its activities have impacts on the environment.UKAS ISOQAR
These impacts include energy consumption, waste sent to landfill and the disposal of hazardous waste. In May 2011, we were awarded ISO14001 certification for demonstrating our commitment to reducing these impacts as well as ensuring compliance to all environmental legislation.

Naturally, paper use is one of our largest environmental impacts and we are committed to the procurement of paper from sustainable sources having had FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) chain of custody since February 2007. This means that our customers can show their commitment too by using the FSC logo on their printed products in the following material groups:

FSC

P7: Stationery of paper (printed and unprinted)

P8: Printed materials

The FSC is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. It was founded in 1993 in response to public concern about deforestation and demand for a trustworthy wood-labelling scheme. It is supported by environmental groups such as Greenpeace, WWF, Friends of the Earth and the Woodland Trust.
